Company Updates

  • Our Guernsey team were out in force over the weekend enjoying a day at the races. The L'Ancresse meeting is an annual horse racing meet on the island and this year Betway were headline sponsors.

After the event was cancelled last year due to bad weather the fingers were crossed this year that the sun would shine. As you can see from the photographs it certainly did and the Guernsey team were able enjoy some fine racing in a very picturesque setting over the bank holiday.

  • Around 300 members of staff, family members and suppliers will be running the Hackney half-marathon on Sunday 19th May in aid of our London charity partner CALM.

Our team have been supported in their training by ultra-runner Nick Butter.

Nick put some of the team through their paces in Regents Park recently with everyone living to tell the tale.

Betway likes to support its people in the challenges they undertake whether it be through coaching, resource or opportunity. In doing so we look to foster team spirit, positive work ethic and healthy attitudes to both life and career.

Running together is just one way of helping to develop this. As Nick says "many people say running is an individual sport, but actually those of you that run, I’m sure you know, the running community is the biggest team sport that exists."

But don't worry - if you're looking for a career at Betway you don't need to be a runner - you can play your part in our team (as many do) by simply living our values. In doing so you can be assured that we will support you along the way.

Nick Butter is a runner and Motivational Speaker based in Bristol. In 2018 Nick is Running The World. A Marathon in all 196 Countries in the world. Tent105

Betway Group – Why Work For Us?

About Betway Group
Our London office, established in 2001, is home to Win Technologies – a leader in online marketing support, customer relationship management and technological solutions, and a proud member of the Betway Group.

Our offices in London are as diverse and colourful as the Camden area in which we operate. Large open plan offices are decorated to reflect the Betway brand and feature break out areas and 'thinking spaces', encouraging people to move around and collaborate as much as possible. You need only take a look at our outputs to see that this works, with each team constantly creating and innovating to improve what we do.

Fancy a break from your screen? We’ve got foosball tables and an array of games in our large communal area – and if you need perking up, we’ve even got an in-house barista. And we’re not far from some of London’s best parks, with many employees making the most of a quick walk or run around Regent’s Park or along the canal in their lunch break.

Benefits like pensions, health insurance, season ticket loans and biweekly fitness boot camps tie in with the values that we live by – taking care of our employees is always a priority.

Culture

Our culture at Betway is defined by our people and we're proud of the friendly and open environment in our offices.
We're a company that holds innovation and creativity in high regard.
We look for people who aren't afraid to ask why and are constantly thriving to find a better way of doing things.
All of our directors are seated with the rest of the staff, not hidden away in offices.

We hire people for their expertise and expect them to tell the company how it should be done, not the other way around.
And when the hard work's done, we like to socialise with company sports teams, regular events and competitions.

Values
At Betway,we have three clear company values and we work hard to ensure everything we do fits in with our values and reflects who we are as a business.

Everything is possible
We encourage the mind-set that everything is possible. That means challenging the status quo. Creating and innovating. We want you to make change happen by backing yourself and working as a team.

Share the thrill
We love what we do. We are passionate about sharing our knowledge to grow and promote our people. We work as a team and have a collaborative approach, which allows us to share our passion and achieve our goals.

Authenticity
We're honest, transparent and professional. We are good at what we do and we don't follow the crowd. Through honest conversations, we create a culture of openness and responsibility.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

The Betway Group is fully committed to giving customers an enjoyable gambling experience and exceptional customer service.

We take our responsibilities in promoting safe, responsible gambling, extremely seriously.

Corporate social responsibility is fundamental to building a sustainable business and is a direct reflection of the professional and ethical standards that we have set ourselves.

Our commitment extends to three key areas: Responsible Gambling, Our People and Society

Responsible Gambling

We are committed to our customers. That means doing everything possible to give them an enjoyable gambling experience and exceptional customer service.

As part of this, we acknowledge that gambling can cause problems for a small minority of people. We therefore take our responsibilities extremely seriously in encouraging safe and responsible gambling, and our initiatives follow the highest standards of customer protection.

Our People

We are always on the lookout for talented, passionate people. And we know that investing in your personal development is the best way to support the growth of the business.

We want our people to enjoy working for us, to feel challenged and motivated every day. That’s why we encourage an open, accountable and stimulating culture. We want you - our staff - to engage with the business, and feel aligned with both our business strategy and with our values.

Society

Over the last few years, the Betway Group have selected a number of charitable partners to raise funds for, through café sales, social events and sporting activities.

  • Our Guernsey office supports 'Guernsey Sports Association for the Disabled', a charitable organisation set up in 2004 that aims to promote physical activity and sport for local people.
  • Our Malta office raises money for 'Special Olympics Malta', which was created in 2000 to provide free year-round sports training and international exposure for children and adults with intellectual disabilities on the island.
  • Our London office currently donates to 'Motivation', who support disabled individuals in a number of ways across seven focus countries in Africa and Asia.

Malta

Situated in the vibrant town of Gzira, our staff in Malta are just a two-minute walk from the water. A gentle stroll along the promenade and you can reach the popular Sliema and St. Julian’s areas which offer some spectacular views of Marsamxett Harbour. Could there be a more picturesque place to work?

The story doesn’t stop there. Our Betway Malta offices are a hub for socialising, capturing that perfect work-life balance. A variety of social events in and out of the office mean you’ll be able to enjoy the best that Malta has to offer with a team of colleagues from all over the world.

Boasting a fully equipped gym with shower facilities, a communal area with snooker and ping pong tables, break out areas and an in-house barista, your time at work won’t really feel like work at all. What's more, when you step away from your desk, you’ll be able to enjoy a view of the whole island.

Guernsey

Our Betway Guernsey office offers a unique way of life. One of the jewels of the Channel Islands, there’s a serious abundance of beaches and picturesque views. We’ve built a work environment that is as sleek and beautiful as its surroundings – and we’ve made sure it’s fully equipped with snacks and refreshments. We want to give our people everything they need, ensuring they’re inspired to give our customers the best experience possible.

We know lifestyle is fundamental – everyone needs some time to recharge. We understand the importance of time spent travelling or simply enjoying the company of friends and family. So we want to ensure you make the best of your time, both at work and away from the office.

And with benefits such as pension, health insurance and life assurance, you can be sure that when you step into the Betway Guernsey offices you are joining a close team that cares about you and your wellbeing.

The island's size lends itself to providing a short commute to the office, as well as many sporting opportunities and social activities, and presents that coveted work-life balance. Safe and secure, Guernsey is a wonderful place to raise a family.

London

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Betway Group (London, England) in March 2018.

    Interview

Interview process was fast and effective. Pretty standard 2 stage interview. First interview you talk around your experience and answer questions suitable to the role you have applied for. Second stage was a continuation of those questions, but with a director. Overall smooth process.
