   I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Betway Group (London, England) in Apr 2022

   Interview

   Phone screening, followed by technical exercise/test, followed by remote interview with one of the analytics managers.
   
   Technical exercise a bit scattershot - badly needs cleaning up/an editing pass, but serviceable. Lots of weird SQL questions about the results cross joining tables to themselves in ways nobody ever would in practice. Felt like academic 'brain teaser' questions rather than practical concepts.
   
   Focus was on 'practical' things - technologies used, experience, etc - interspersed with hypothetical questions and logical brain teasers.
   
   Very positive impression of the business, or at least the Analytics department. Enjoyed the interview - everything was communicated to me very clearly, the questions asked were pleasant, and at the end of the day it was a really enjoyable discussion.
   
   Only frustration was with the lack of offer and feedback: Said everything technical sounded great, and my handling of all of the logic/hypothetical questions was great, but I just lacked experience. Fair enough, but the amount of experience I have is written clearly in my CV, so if that was going to be a sticking point, it isn't clear why we had an interview.

   If you have the bet, deposit, withdrawal, win, and loss amounts of a customer, can you identify when an individual might be straying into 'problem' gambling? Can you propose a metric or method of identifying this, and what kind of actions would you propose taking?
