Eric and Martin, our two directors, met at Warwick University whilst studying Computer Science. They went on to work together for a few years in London at a leading software development consultancy, Quidnunc, before starting their own company. They had a mission to provide the high levels of professional service, technical ability and experience normally associated with much larger, industry-leading software development companies, but for more reasonable prices. As you may imagine, success and growth soon followed!
Today Bright Interactive has 17 years’ experience developing highly usable and robust custom applications and websites for a wide range of clients all over the world. In addition to custom development, Bright Interactive is the company behind Asset Bank, Digital Asset Management software used by over 800 organisations including 20 FTSE 100 companies. We have a highly experienced, competent team, which consistently receives excellent reviews for customer service for our Asset Bank product on the independent review site Trustpilot.
The principles of customer service, quality and value still drive the business.
We have a talented team working in a vibrant office in central Brighton with views of the sea and the Downs.
We pride ourselves on providing our varied client base with highly usable, technically excellent, well-supported websites and applications. We work hard to really understand our clients' businesses and objectives so we can provide appropriate, lasting solutions.
We employ bright, enthusiastic people who enjoy working collaboratively and sharing knowledge with the rest of the team. We encourage people to develop their skills through pair programming, mentoring, work-related bookclubs, and by attending conferences and courses. Our people work together in self-managed teams within a flat organisation.
We have an approach to work that places an emphasis on a good work/life balance. Our team benefits from:

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Bright Interactive (Brighton, England) in December 2014.
The interview process was very straightforward. I emailed my CV and covering letter in late 2014 and swiftly received a response inviting me for an interview. It began with a basic HR interview to ease you in (no competency questions which was unusual), followed by a technical question - asked to identify an error in Python code on paper.
