I have been working at Buildbase full-time (More than 5 years)
Feeling like part of a team and family in the work place
Feel like people listen and appreciate comments and concerns
Best place I have worked so far, very fair when it comes to life outside of work also with children etc
None really just long term staff sometimes need to be more proactive
Advice to Management
Keep doing what your doing, making changes that are working great.
Sometimes I feel a lot of the long term staff stand around behind counters not being pro active and engaging like they should, which gets setting a trend with new starters
Also to say that more regional staff would help when we struggle, having 2 people cover/support the U.K. is impossible
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Buildbase (Oxford, England) in January 2016.
The interview process lasted approximately 1 hour, and was conducted be two interviewers - a manager and trainer previously employed in the role. It started with basic questions such as: Tell us a little about yourself? What do you know about the company? What can you add to the role and what exactly do you know about the role? No competency based questions. The interview/ "conversation" revolved around what the role entailed and was unusually expressed by the manager in a negative fashion; as to "put you off" wanting the role. However, it was very informative and didn't portray any unrealistic expectations.
