    Pros

    Pros
Some great people work here, you'll meet a lot of interesting and intelligent people.
Usually a great work life balance, although it depends on which project you're on.

Higher level management is under the illusion that people aren't pressured to work past 6. This is not the case on some projects.

A few managers can be needlessly high intensity, micromanaging, and will find fault with literally every tiny thing you do which can basically ruin your life from 9am to 6pm if you get them. I should stress that most of them are great and will really work with you to make sure you e…

    Advice to Management
Reflect on what it might be like to work for the company as anything below a senior consultant, yes it can be an amazing company to work for but there are some serious issues when it comes to how some younger employees are treated.

    Cons

Long working hours on some projects

    Junior Consultant Interview

    Difficult Interview

    Application

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CHP Consulting (London, England) in November 2016.

    Interview

Initial phone interview with HR. Then invited back to the London office for a face-to-face interview with both HR and a manager. The whole process took about two weeks. At every stage of the interview they were very pleasant and created a positive atmosphere. Lots of information can be found on the website and in various brochures.

    Interview Questions

    • The phone interview was fairly simple. Questions were about my knowledge of the asset finance industry, my background and experience and why companies would want to use the software that CHP sells.
The face-to-face was more in-depth, with further questions about the industry and types of arrangements in the asset finance industry. The most difficult questions involved the different stages of the project lifecycle and how CHP would implement their software.
