Company Updates

  • Day 2 - catching the ferry on the IOW to cycle from Portsmouth to Wimborne.

  • We are celebrating our 30th Birthday of providing a continuous service to our clients and staff by James (Director/Son of Proprietor) cycling from Uckfield Branch (East Sussex) to Head Office in Glastonbury over 5 days - via our branches in Wimborne, Westbury and Sherborne. He set off from Uckfield at 11:45 on Monday 17th Sept and due to arrive in Glastonbury at 13:30 on Friday 21st Sept. At each of the branches as James arrives, cake parties are happening - all money raised is being donated to Dementia UK - a charity close to all our hearts.     I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Candlelight Care (Glastonbury, England) in September 2017.


    The interview was taken by the branch Manager. I was made to feel very welcome by the receptionist upon arrival who then offered me a drink and lead me to the Manager's office. The Manager enabled me to feel very relaxed, listened to and encouraged. I was asked about the hours I would like to work and we agreed these during interview. The interview was documented by the Receptionist and I was given opportunities to ask questions. I found all the staff I encountered on this day to be very friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere in the building was very relaxed and I left feeling as though I was a part of the team instantly.
