I am 2 months into my new position at Rose Associates as a leasing agent and I hate it. I worked at my last property management company as a leasing agent and did considerably well. At Rose Associates, I haven’t received any formal training on their CRM and procedures. My property has tons of vacancies due to it being very outdated and unorganized. I feel like I made the biggest mistake in my career, what do I do next?

Real Estate Agent
I am a new agent meeting with my brokers today and wanting to bring up doing property management as well in 2024. I would like to help people manage their short term rentals since I live in a college town. How should I bring this up to my brokers? Also what should I ask or find out?

I recently received a Job offer. I accepted it verbally in order for them to send me the official offer letter. It does match everything they described to me (based on salary, sign on bonus, & relocation assistance.) However the question I have is should i attempt to negotiate for a higher base salary? When speaking to my parents about it they told me that the time for negotiation is over as I accepted the offer as it stands and they sent it to me.

Want to know what working at Carterwood is like? Here's Aishling Barrett (principal analyst) to give you her take: "A day in the life at Carterwood for me is varied and fast paced! Working as a principal analyst and care home report writer, I have the opportunity to work with lots of different members of the team and have input into many different parts of our core advisory work. "A normal day for me could include analysing site-specific demographic data, maintaining our internal high-quality databases, providing our clients with valuable recommendations and advice, or supporting my colleagues across the close-knit analyst team. "No two days are the same, requiring me to be organised in my time management but also flexible in my approach. I love that every day is slightly different, and I love the challenge - I don’t think I would be as happy in a job that didn’t give me as much to think about!" Aishling's three words to describe Carterwood: 💡 Innovative 🚀 Adaptable 👋 Friendly
