The latest conversations about Tech
Going on 2 years at current 500+ employee “unicorn” $1B SaaS company. My ~100 accounts have ~$75M annual revenue. The internal analytics systems I built are referenced by c-suites/executives, provide insight to guide product/content development, built the framework for how success teams operate, and are a pillar of the tech value stack for business partners. Salaried at $60k, no bonuses/commissions, never gotten a raise. How do I navigate that conversation? Nothing has come from my efforts.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cirrico (United Kingdom) in Jun 2021
InterviewI was invited to an initial casual phone interview, followed by an interview via video chat. This was cancelled but eventually rearranged very last minute. I was asked the same questions in the video chat, as if they'd forgotten they'd already spoken to me. Three weeks and two emails from me later, I still have not heard anything. Very unprofessional experience.Interview

This week we brought the team together to share, learn and feedback on the past quarter and what we plan to work on as a team. We started the day with Swedish buns (Our CEO's signature breakfast) and had workshops on using Slack's latest features, working with Enterprise customers, and then went out for a lovely lunch as a team in London. 🥳 We came back and broke out into groups to look at 3 topics which involved the teams giving feedback on what we can do better, how we can grow, and what is working well. 🚀 We then finished off the day at Bounce (a Ping Pong bar and club) which involved Pizza, Ping-Pong and cocktails! 🎉
A bold new vision: Accelerating human progress through technology The progress being made on the world’s greatest problems is not fast enough. More must be done about the environment and the climate emergency; about achieving equality for so many people who are marginalised simply for being who they are; and to ensure access to quality education for everyone. Cirrico has made some fundamental changes so that we can play our part to accelerate this progress. ...The other pro's are that I don't feel "locked" down into any particular role outside of my day to day work, If you see a process or way we do things that needs improving, then by all means see what you can do to improve it and feed it back, management is always ready to take on new ideas to help grow the business....
