I worked at CultHealth as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Some seriously talented and creative art directors, accounts folks, and project management make the vibe of Cult a great place to visit, but not one to call home.

    Cons

Isolated partners make for an unexamined business, complicated by an elitism that seriously needs to be dropped asap. One partner does imbue a sense of love for his job to others, has the chops to make exceptional television spots, and should be the point person for making Cult work for years to come. His talents are weakened by the others who foist a separation between themselves and the 35-strong personnel. Really, 35 hard-working souls and three of the four partners can't mix, won't mix, and make for a sour taste in the scuttlebutt.

There appears no value proposition except "fake it 'til we make it", and this company is trying for high sciences HCP marketing and shouldn't. Accounts were lost, and the business needs a thorough self-examination to survive on more than one partner's creative juices--35 souls depend on it, and not the elitism and superiority that drag down the potential.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CultHealth (New York, NY (US)).

    Interview

Creepy! The interview point person was fired after my arrival, so her sanctimony and officiousness is not representative of Cult, especially their rock star Creative Partner Joe, hands-down a great person.
