Mission: Our vision is to help people make better informed financial decisions
Working for Defaqto is all about helping to make that vision reality, through the ways in which we collect and analyse financial data and create a range of products and services to deliver this ...
The building is in a beautiful semi-rural location but has the added benefit of a train station a few minutes walk away and the shops and amenities of a large town nearby. You'll get a warm welcome when you join Defaqto and the work ethic is one of collaboration, support and respect. I I think that this is reflected in the low turnover of staff over the years.
It may be a challenging commute if you rely on public transport.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Defaqto.
A full half day interview, with an hour interview and then an hour and a half technical test to produce a simple website and then talk through the development with 2 other developers. Then a written test for basic knowledge of asp.net.
The most important thing about interviewing is to be honest, most of the time Defaqto is looking for a good fit into the team and may not necessarily be looking for the top skills, as these can all be taught.
At Defaqto we don't need much of an excuse to eat cake! Defaqto is supporting the Macmillan Cancer Support World's Biggest Coffee Morning on Thu 28 and Fri 29 Sep. http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQyIi
