I have been working at Dunelm full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Dunelm Tech team is going through a new ways of working transformation; this has created lots of new opportunities and allowed so many existing tech colleagues to see their career's develop (as well as bringing in new talent to tech). Dunelm is also investing in Agile/Scrum training as they see this as key to the transformations success. Go Dunelm Tech!

    Cons

Syston office is bursting with colleagues (but this isn't a bad thing as Dunelm is growing and bucking the retail trend!)

    Advice to Management

Don't forget about IT Service as we focus on new initiatives!

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Dunelm (Nottingham, England) in October 2013.

    Interview

Went through an agency so there were several stages there but once at Dunelm I was interviewed by the store manager looking at my CV and how I work, then 2 weeks later I had an interview with the area manager who did a very similar exercise but asked very detailed and probing questions.

    Interview Questions

    • How would you rate the store between 1-10   1 Answer

    Negotiation
