Helping Hands

Our Helping Hands teams in each market inspire employees to make a difference in the dunnhumby communities around the world.

We support a number of organisations around the globe including; Habitat for Humanity, American Cancer Society, The Society for Child Development (Gurgaon), CentrePoint UK, Ronald McDonald House.

Green Team

Through our Green Team, our goal is to make a positive contribution to our workplace, community, environment and marketplace through collective and individual responsibility by providing educational resources and social connections for dunnhumby employees.

Some activities include:

  • Annual Plantation drive in India - we pledge to plant as many saplings as the number of employees in the Gurgaon office and this year, we planted 500 saplings
  • To reduce plastic waste we gave each of our employees reusable metal water bottles and made the change from plastic milk bottles to glass bottles

From summer internships to accelerated training and role rotation, we strive to make our university programmes challenging and rewarding. Your first few weeks are in intensive, jump-start training to develop your understanding of dunnhumby’s ways of working, the use of our tools and capabilities, the FMCG and retail industry, and technical training on the tools we use to customise our work for our clients.

We are also building an exciting apprenticeship scheme which will create a sustainable pipeline of new talent for our business. This is a unique opportunity to offer jobs and training to digital natives who want to pursue a career in the Tech, Insight and Media space.

For Interns: Gain in-depth exposure to our work, adding value in projects over a three-month period. This is a great scheme to explore if dunnhumby is the place for you and to be considered for a place on one of our graduate programmes. The Summer Intern Programme is available in UK, US & India.

For Graduates: Our 18-month rotational programmes in Technology and Commercial are designed to give graduates breadth and depth of exposure across our business areas. The knowledge and experience that comes from this will set you up as future innovators and individuals who will be fast tracked into leadership roles within our key businesses. Some of the programmes we offer include: Graduate Development Programme (US) and Graduate Training Programme (UK & India).

    Ambitious company, great culture, good community, smart people, good tech stack, everyone is helpful, good work/life balance, flexible hours, early finish Fridays - all in all, a decent place to work


    For people in tech, there is no official training offered, it's very much you learn on the job, which is good (and often better) in many ways, but to compliment that by offering proper training would be highly useful and effective. Allowing employees a training budget and some say over how to spend it would be beneficial. The company is growing and changing a lot, which means sometimes it can feel unstable and uncertain, but I suppose that is inevitable for a company trying to grow.
