Mission: To support longer and healthier lives for everyone by providing high quality healthcare technology and services.
New Year… New Tech… New Platforms…
This week it all started: Our teams across the UK have begun the work to migrate our systems to the new, cloud-based platform that seamlessly links different healthcare teams and systems, which will be known as EMIS-X.
Our Leeds office celebrated this milestone with some cake before all the hard work began!
Andy Thorburn, our CEO, has said “We believe EMIS-X will help to hugely improve efficiency and patient safety, while providing dramatic cost savings to the NHS”.
Exciting times ahead...
Teams across EMIS Group have been celebrating in the run up to Christmas and to end a fantastic year of achievements!
One of the achievements we're especially proud of is raising £70,000 for our charity partner Mind. We've climbed the height of Everest, walked the Yorkshire Three Peaks, dressed up, baked cakes, helped in Mind charity shops and more. And, to top it all off, our Group Executive Team have donated an extra £10,000 to the pot meaning we've now raised a total of £80,000!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Advice to Management
Once the strategy is announced ensure you organise yourselves operationally. Ensure the womens network does not become the only forum that women can network in.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at EMIS Group (Leeds, England) in March 2018.
Application letter and CV. Receipt acknowledged by personal phone call, during which initial details were gathered. Telephone interview with CTO after paper sift. Interview was relaxed but thorough. Feedback was provided in a personal telephone call within days. Overall the process was managed very well and felt very personal.
