    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Efficio full-time (More than a year)

The CEO is fantastic, very down to earth and approachable. Is involved in nearly every single final round interview so meets every new joiner in the process. This was very important to me when deciding where to join.

Projects are vast and varied. Loads of travel and client interaction from day one.

Lots of autonomy and responsibility, more than I have ever experienced in other consulting firms.

Ideas and change are appreciated and encourged.

Very social firm with lots of activities arranged (including one Friday afternoon each month!).

Bonus and potential promotions twice a year.

Incredibly international with a wonderful mix of languages and nationalities.

There really isn't anything about Efficio that I dont enjoy

    Advice to Management

With the rapid growth of the firm, ensure we keep the culture.

Continue to recognise and reward talent and hard work. The Employee Recognition awards at the Summer Party were a great motivating tool.

    Average Interview

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Efficio.

First of all, interviewers were not professional at all. No flow to the interview - one of them kept giggling away at the answers! I understand that it is a procurement consultancy and the founders left ATK to start Efficio but it has a long way to go to match the professionalism.

    Interview Questions

    • Questions: Challenging team situation, data analysis example, a brain teaser, and a case study. Know your CV inside out!
Case study: You are hotel brand and you have been made an offer to rent a hotel for 4 million near London Kings Cross. Is that a worthwhile investment? Few things to consider: Profitability (Revenue/Cost), Capability of the company, alternative options (what else could be equally profitable with £4 million).
Now, Excel case study - it says that it tests your creativity and problem solving skills, not just the Excel skills. The fact is you probably need more excel skills than creativity to solve this. The structure of spreadsheet is like this: list of countries, geographies, spend type, spend in local currency. The first question will be to convert them into US Dollar. Useful tools: Nested If statements; also pivot tables would make your life easier. You then have to compare the cost from other suppliers to estimate cost savings.   Answer Question
