Good atmosphere, nice office and company culture, promote social activities for employees - monthly drinks, free breakfast every month, travel benefits, healthcare benefits. Best company I have worked for.

    Cons

I cannot find any negative aspect about the company, only the redundancies.

    Field Marketing Manager Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Egencia (London, England) in July 2018.

    Interview

I had a 30-minute call with the recruiter. Then a 1 hour 'blue jeans' video call with the Hiring Manager. They wanted me to take a 2 hour timed written test. Despite me checking with them the day before, they did not send the test on the day I had arranged for them.
Then when I finally got hold of them to tell them that (the recruiter was on her day off that day), they scheduled another day the next week for me to sit the test. Instead, the test arrived the next morning (the wrong day).
I cancelled a phone interview to sit the unarranged test. The recruiter said I could have told them this, but I figured why take the risk that Egencia screw up again and I waste yet another morning? Egencia then arranged a final face to face meeting with the hiring manager, after which they told me they would make a decision.
The day before the interview, the recruiter called me to say that they'd have to cancel this and that the position was now on hold. I never did get to find out how I did in my test.
Next time I read a complaint from a recruiter or hiring manager about how candidates lack enthusiasm or having prepared for an interview, I will think of this experience; it's most likely experiences like this that make candidates jaded about the interview process. Most likely, the hiring manager and recruiter complaining about their candidates are the same ones that are putting their job candidates through these kinds of Kafkaesque experiences!
I used to have a high opinion of Egencia, since I've used them. I don't have a high opinion of them anymore.
