I have been working at Environmental Resources Management full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The most amazing variety of work, both in UK and internationally. Never a dull moment. A bonus scheme that actually delivers some bonus. Working alongside some of the best in the industry. Working for some of the best clients who value environment and sustainability.

    Cons

An expectation that you will travel away from home to a reasonable extent, good if you like it, but not if you don't. Tough on setting targets and judging how these have been met

    Advice to Management

Consider the need for more than one model of the various roles in the company - so a Partner might not just be a super salesperson, they could have other attributes just as valuable

Company Updates

  • There is a growing sense of urgency within the business community about the sustainability challenges facing the world. Despite this sense of urgency, we are not moving fast enough. Pace and scale is required. We know ‘what’ needs to happen, and now need to focus on ‘how’ we can deliver the change that is required. Our 2019 Sustainability Report sets out examples of how ERM is helping clients and other leading organizations to meet these challenges. We also explain how we are contributing to a more sustainable future through our internal operations, and through the work of the ERM Foundation. http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vMiS0

ERM Sustainability Report 2019 - From the what to the how

I am struck by the increasing sense of urgency about sustainability challenges...we are simply not moving fast or far enough. To deliver the right scale of change at the right pace, we must focus less on "what" we need to do - we know this - and focus more on "how" we can deliver the change our planet and society require.

  • The ERM 2018 Sustainability Report : The theme for our report this year is Sustainability means better business. The megatrends of climate change, digital transformation, population growth and emerging middle classes have growing relevance for business. The implications for the pace of change in addressing environmental, health and safety (EHS) and social challenges and opportunities is significant. As a result the services ERM offers are more relevant today than ever. The Report contains 50 case studies and highlights profiling the work we do around the world. Together these illustrate the impact ERM is having on addressing complex sustainability challenges and the way in which this not only helps to solve our client’s problems, but also helps to add value to their businesses. http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQ8nj
