I have been working at Esendex full-time (More than 3 years)
The people here are brilliant to work with, very passionate and care about what they do. In engineering particularly, there is always a desire to do better; exploring new technologies, finding creative solutions, and, most importantly, caring about the end result - making great products that customers/users can make use of - rather than just being a fire-and-forget feature-factory.
As I'm sure would be the case for any fast growing company making several acquisitions in a short space of time, there are some current growing pains. I have confidence that we will become stronger and better in the end, though it will be a challenging tight rope to walk and, for a time, will mean quite a but of change and uncertainty for people to deal with.
Telephone call with recruiter, telephone interview with Esendex staff then interview face to face alongside a test sometimes, no point revising or learning anything as the questions are harder to judge your knowledge. Not a good process as it seems informal. They do the interview so casually dressed while you are suited and booted just make you feel out of place.
Reasons for Declining
I declined because the company have so many benefits, which they sell to you, however you have to sacrifice your earnings to park in a hotel car park as they have no parking, second of all staff turn around is high, people leave quickly and cut throat environment. Modern office seems all nice on the front but i don't think this helps staff to relax as workload seems to be a lot. Lastly I had a vibe that people who have been there for a long time have settled in but they say they offer training on the job but there is no patience I believe.
Interesting place I can tell you, be cautious.
