Experis – Why Work For Us?

undefined

We're Experis. We're the professional resourcing arm of ManpowerGroup and the largest IT recruiter in Europe; placing more than 38,000 experts into IT, Finance and Engineering roles every day.

We're a different kind of talent company. Few companies can match our scope, our history of success, or our enviable reputation as the global leader in professional talent and workforce solutions. That's why over 80% of the Fortune Global 500 turns to us for the professional talent that will set their business apart.

We pride ourselves on our ability to make a difference to individuals, communities, and organisations. Social responsibility really is at our core; and we are committed to developing socially inclusive work environments for the long term. In fact, our commitment to sustainability has been recognised in a number prestigious organisations, including the Ethisphere Institute, who named us as being one of the World's Most Ethical Companies for seven consecutive years, and Fortune Magazine, who listed us as one of the World's Most Admired Companies for 14 years in a row.

Unlocking talent is what we're all about. Through a structured career ladder which incorporates extensive training, coaching and mentoring opportunities, we'll empower you with all the tools you need to discover your personal best.

We'll build a development path that's perfectly aligned to your aspirations - whether you're at the very start of your recruitment career or a seasoned professional. We offer one-day training courses, digital learning, leadership programmes, internal and external qualifications, European development initiatives, and even the chance to build and grow your own team.

With 3000+ offices in all four corners of around the world, you'll find there are plenty of opportunities to take your career in whichever direction you choose. It's the variety of life at Experis that has led some of our employees to stay with us for 10, 20, 30 and even 40 years.

I have been working at Experis full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Each member of staff is supportive and approachable. Evidence of their support includes their proactive ways of meeting and greeting you: by email, online meeting with board members, in person and sat beside you. As a result, you soon feel as though you are a well-respected family member.
The effect of the above is you soon feel very comfortable to approach colleagues with any concerns or issues you believe that you may have. The colleagues show you the process to use just in case they are not there next time you have any issues or concerns and because they do not want anyone to feel unsupported.
This is positive for the organisation because it results in you aiming to perform to the best of your ability, everyday.

    Cons

Much of the work I do is on computer, which is necessary because my role supports contractors who work throughout the UK. Because those people depend upon me responding to their simple questions and queries, I believe one must be computer literate enough to reply to emails yet be confident enough to ask questions regarding which database to retrieve the simple information.

    Advice to Management

Please continue to place staff into the types of teams that you do because it creates an effective skill-base for retrieval of information and support.
