    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Finiata in August 2018.

    Interview

It consisted of 4 stages: 30 min screening call, take-home task, skype with dev team to discuss my solution, 30 min call with CTO. I can not say it was a smooth process as after every stage I had to wait around one week for feedback and next steps. Talk with dev team wasn't structured well too, as it was described as a discussion about my way of solving the task and coding preferences, but eventually turned into live coding session. I don't mind that, but I should be notified beforehand about the agenda. Not to mention, we run out of time and left with few minutes for my question about their work habits/practices. To top this all, finally, I got offer which was over 20% lower than what I have requested during screening call. Taking into account how much time I had to invest in the whole process, it was totally not worth it and pure waste of time.
