We employ over 2400 people in the air and on the ground, across the UK and further into Europe. Our people are the key to our success. We know that in order to succeed, we must place the customer at the heart of everything we do, and we know that to do that we must value and respect our people and give them the best employee experience. We listen to our employees and value their opinions. Hosting regular employee forums means that we can hear our employee voice and make changes to our business, ultimately delivering a better service to our customer.
To ensure our employees are operating to the best of their abilities, we built our state of the art Training Academy, which features simulator facilities for pilot and cabin crew training; an engineering apprentice workshop with EASA Part 147 Approval; 26 classrooms and a 150-seat conference facility. Ensuring our people are well trained is really important to us and remains one of our key priorities.
Our culture is inclusive and friendly and our people are passionate – we all work hard and play hard. We value our teams and work together to achieve our goals. Being open and honest with each other allows us to make improvements on a day to day basis.
We are committed to our environmental and social responsibilities, building a fleet which has a reduced impact on the environment. But our responsibilities don’t stop with the environment. We are strong supporters of Cancer Research UK and our employees take part in a wealth of activities to raise funds for this great cause.

Advice to Management

- Ensure workload is fairly balanced across the organisation
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Flybe (Exeter, England) in November 2017.
Applied online via Flybe Job Vacancies web page then was sent an email 8 days prior to interview to prepare a 15 minute presentation and session plan.
Interview was conducted on time and good introduction by both members of the interview panel on the process and expectations.
Presentation was delivered first followed by a selection of pre written questions that was professionally asked and standardised as part of the recruitment process.
Was given plenty of time and chance to ask questions throughout interview process which was conducted in a relaxed, suitable and quite informal environment.
