Our Corporate Social Responsibility
Freedom are committed to a Corporate Social Responsibly programme which is tangible, practical and “fits” with the ethos and culture of our business. In addition to our targeted areas of focus, our policy generally is to act in a socially responsible manner, taking into account relevant social and environmental factors, and to promote this attitude across the market in which we operate.
We believe our colleagues are the key to our success and our most important asset. We are committed to provide a stable working environment and culture for our colleagues by:
We are committed to the wider role we serve in the community and this aspect of our Corporate Social Responsibility echoes the sentiment of our business. As well as supporting local charities on an annual basis, we support community initiatives through BW3 at our Wythenshawe office and from our Doncaster office initiates to support M25 Housing (supporting the homeless) and Help for Homeless Veterans. Some of these initiatives include:
We recognises and understand the importance of protecting the environment as a whole. We are fully committed to minimising the impact that running our business has on the environment. For this reason where possible we:
We understand finance can be a confusing topic, we aim to educate our customers to make the right selections through providing clarity not just choice.
At Freedom Finance we take our obligations seriously to provide a working environment which encourages dignity, equality and diversity.
Areas which are measured throughout the year are shown below (data correct as of 31/10/18). Although this can change there has been consistency with the below figures over the last 5 years.
In an increasingly competitive marketplace we believe in an inclusive and diverse culture to ensure we have the finest people and a strong team.
Whilst we encourage various working hours, many full timers do take advantage of our Flexihours policy and the right to request Flexiable Working.
I have been working at Freedom Finance full-time (More than a year)
I work in the Doncaster office and the buzz in the office is great! There is always incentives going on and moral boosting activities to really liven up the day. The area has lots of food establishments to get your lunch fix and we are partial to a take out on a Friday! The management really listen to their employee's and the higher management have monthly meetings with all staff members to gain feedback.
As any company it has its ups and downs but everyone is there to support each other. The process does change a lot and people have to be able to adapt to change quickly.
Advice to Management
Lets stop changing things up as much!
I applied online. I interviewed at Freedom Finance (Manchester, England) in August 2015.
Great initial process, telephone interview, coffee chat, the an interview with a presentation. I made a hash of interview I was that bad the HR lady was falling asleep. When I asked for feedback the HR assistant gave it me. I thought it would have been common courtesy for one of the interviewers to give it.
