I have been working at GBG full-time (Less than a year)
International incentive trip to surprise destinations every year, previous destinations have been Las Vegas, Dubai, Morocco, San Francisco, South Africa. Great culture & Atmosphere, Sharesave Scheme, Loads of external work and charity events etc
Competitor companies do pay more for certain roles.
Advice to Management
Too much middle management. There is so much talent within the business which is not being capitalized on. Some of the top sales people, are only the top due to the accounts they manage and that the sales target they have is not in proportion to their account base/sector. It's often see unfair when the same sales people are always on the incentive trips as their target compared to others in the business are not competitive or as challenging.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at GBG in May 2016.
I had a telephone interview to begin with and then I was invited for a face to face interview. Both interviews were relaxed and they took a real interest in me and the type of person I am. This was very refreshing.
No negotiation was needed they offered what I was looking for and the development opportunities are amazing.
