  • Gamesys Summer Party 2019! With this years 70's theme there was plenty of fancy dress, groovy dance moves and Saturday night fever fun bringing together our employees and their families

  • We've had a fantastic couple of days attending the Women of Silicon Roundabout event, meeting and speaking with so many interesting people. Thank you to everyone that stopped at our stand. One particular highlight was having Tina (Director of People), Miguel (Development Manager) and Amanda (FE Developer) giving a presentation on the topic 'Why businesses need to embrace Intersectionality'

Based in the heart of the West End, the London office at Piccadilly Circus, is the group’s worldwide headquarters and home to over 600 talented developers, designers, marketers and analysts.

Here we work to design, develop and produce our award winning games and technology platforms, to deliver thrilling online experiences and gaming products across desktop, mobile and tablet.

Also here is the group’s internal marketing agency Mice & Dice, which provides marketing services to all the Gamesys owned brands and our strategic partner brands. Plus our Corporate Services teams are here doing their Corporate Services thang.

Since 2005 our UK Customer Operations and Player Entertainment Centre has been the heart of our customer support, chat hosting and member services operating 24 hours, 7 days a week to ensure our members are continually supported and entertained.

In 2008 the Group opened operations in Gibraltar, located on the southern tip of Spain’s Costa del Sol. Since then we have established ourselves as the local employer of choice with a vibrant team of around 50 dedicated staff looking after customer support, fraud, gaming finance, and operations.

Based in the heart of Tallinn, the Gamesys Estonia office sits in the cosy and friendly urban environment of Rotermann City. If you love historical atmosphere, outstanding and tantalizing architecture as well as a central location, you’ll love this office!

Technology is at the heart of what we do at Gamesys. Our whole platform is developed in-house and is currently serving over 430 games across desktop, mobile web and native. Our team takes great pride in building the world-class technology platform that powers the entertainment we provide to our 120,000 daily active users.

Learning & Development

As part of the tech department, you will have access to a wide variety of online resources to further your development including Safari Books and LinkedIn Learning. In addition, we run frequent learning lunches (Brownbags), internal training sessions run by you or your colleagues, formal training and conferences depending on your discipline. 

In 2017 we spend over £100k on conferences sending 178 people to a wide range of conferences including React, SoCraTes, Velocity and Women of Silicon Roundabout.

Our Tech Teams

For us to continue to be one of the largest online gaming companies in the UK our tech teams need to be at the forefront in providing innovative, smart solutions. We use a scalable microservice architecture and continuous delivery pipelines to ensure zero downtime for our players meaning they can play anywhere and everywhere 24/7, 365 days a year.

We encourage free thinking and collaborative problem solving within and between our teams. We also want our teams to be autonomous by deciding the most effective processes & methodologies (Kanban/Scrum) to get things developed in the most efficient way. With technology continuously evolving it’s key that you are motivated to stay up to date with the latest developments. We can help you with that by providing world class training and conference passes.

We have put a lot of effort into our release process, enabling teams to deploy independently from each other and to push new ideas and features directly to our players quicker than ever. Being able to see our player’s respond to our updates with such a quick turnaround makes all the hard work worthwhile. Our platform is powered by cutting edge technologies and tools including – Kubernetes, Docker, Big Table, Fluent, Google Cloud and AWS. As technology evolves so does our tech stack.

    I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gamesys (London, England) in February 2019.
