    Continuous Improvement Manager Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in London, England
    No Offer
    Positive Experience
    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gate Gourmet (London, England) in February 2012.

    Interview

Initial screening was done with a 45 minute phone interview which asked basic questions on why I was interested in Gate Gourmet, why I had left previous position etc. Asked for lots of examples of of applying Lean Six Sigma skills and general people management, dealing with conflict etc. Interview was very professional, interviewer was considerate and polite throughout giving time to answer questions and explained the process before we began. The process was followed up with a prompt set of emails at regular stages informing me of my application progress and ultimately when and why I was not successful. Didn't get the job but every interaction was a pleasurable experience - a lot of companies could learn a lot from their HR process.

    Interview Questions

    • Probed details on some answers, clearly trained in conducting interviews but no particularly unpleasant or difficult questions.   Answer Question
