    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at GroupM.

    Interview

Worst interview experience! I was contacted for 2 open roles at Xaxis and Wavemaker.
An HR representative asked for my availability for an interview on a specific day in the afternoon and after getting back to her, she did not reply back to confirm, but to reschedule it 10 minutes prior to my suggested time. The second attempt to discuss went bad as well. My number wasn't working because of a different country code and she did not reach to me via e-mail, but chose to move on. I had to write her an e-mail to ask if she is still available and she rescheduled again.
The third attempt to discuss about the roles was the worst. We eventually talked on the phone and I told her I'm not London based and that I'm going to move there in 2 weeks. She refused to have a conversation with me by showing a rude attitude and asking me about my situation after Brexit. Moreover, at the beginning of the interview she said that is going to send my cv to the hiring manager and discuss about it with him, but at the end of the call she changed her mind and bluntly said she won't do that anymore and told me to call her when I’m in London.
This was definitely the worst interview experience that I have ever had. I know that no one knows how Brexit is going to end and visa is definitely a concern for many companies, but treating people right, being polite and showing respect to those who spent their time applying for your job and preparing for the interview, has nothing to do with it.
