    I have been working at Guestline full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    I have recently come back from maternity leave and have felt nothing but supported. The company have been incredible with being flexible to suit my new found childcare issues. They allow me to work from home two out of my five days a week which has been a massive help with not only childcare but also the transition of returning to full time work after a period of time off.

    Cons

    The only con I can currently see is a lack of training. This however is something I can take ownership of to try and get this arranged

    Advice to Management

    One thing I have found GUESTLINE does really well is flexibility. For me personally without the flexibility I would not be able to be here working full time. I hope this stays like this for current employees and future ones. A happy team makes for a happy work place and customers! The focus should always be the customers but focus should also be put onto the staff team to make sure they feel supported and listened too as this will ultimately be beneficial for when they deal with customers.

    Application

    I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Guestline (Shrewsbury, England) in February 2019.

    Interview

    The whole interview and onboarding process ran smoothly and quick. I remember applying for the role at 1am on a weeknight and the next day I had received an invitation for an interview for that same week.

    From the time I applied on line to the time I signed the contract only 1 week had passed. The onboarding documents where sent a few days later. People Operations uses a system called Bamboo which enabled me to securely provide the company with my personal details and I was able to insert one of my personal favoured pictures for the badge.

    On my first day I was greeted with a jar full of sweets and a personalised notebook. I have never experienced such a welcome in any of the previous companies I worked for..
