Simon has over 20 years’ of recruitment outsourcing and managed service expertise, covering MSP and RPO design, planning and implementation.
Simon joined Guidant in February 2014 as Client Solutions Director and after achieving considerable success in this role was promoted to Managing Director in mid-2017. He is responsible for implementing Guidant’s three-year strategy (Lead, People, Grow) which has set a clear framework for the future direction of the business, while ensuring an exceptional standard of service for clients, candidates, suppliers and employees alike.

Each Guidant Group employee now creates their own unique work/life blend which is made up of 8 key elements that reflect their life inside and outside of work. These individual blends form the basis of regular coaching-led discussions between managers and their team members. When we first implemented Open Blend, some people were worried about having to reveal details of their private lives they might not want to discuss with their manager. However, Open Blend is about supporting you as an individual and you can therefore reveal as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. Now that Open Blend is fully embedded, our team have seen first-hand the difference it can make to individual lives and careers. Open Blend gives individuals a voice and a platform to request the support they specifically need to develop and progress.
