I worked at Gwangju Institute of Science & Technology full-time (More than a year)
Learned many techniques, worked with talented researcher
Long working hour (12hrs for almost all labs) which made me exhausted
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Gwangju Institute of Science & Technology.
Hired after finished Master degree in the same laboratory to finish project for publication. Basically everything depends on professor, if you get initial contact and satisfy his/hers requirements, it won't be difficult to enter the institute. Interview might be held by Skype(or other similar software), if you don't reside in Korea.
Publications in good journals would be a major advantage.
