Mission: At Harvey John we motivate people to fulfil their potential, to enable companies to grow and achieve their objectives by matching the best candidates with the best opportunities.
I have been working at Harvey John full-time (Less than a year)
I've been working at Harvey John for 5 months now and can honestly say it's been the best work experience I've had. There's an excellent work/life balance, benefits, full on-boarding training, and everyone is so friendly and social that it's easy to feel at home here each day.
From my first day, there were opportunities for training and progression so I knew the the company was invested in my growth. The Managing Director is constantly building the employees up and everyone celebrates each others' successes.
There isn't a single thing I would change about working at Harvey John, it's the kind of place people stay at for the long-run.
- Positive and fun environment
- Social outings
- Ambitious people
- Progression opportunities
- Supportive team
- Bonuses and commission scheme
- Great employee policies
- External training opportunities
- Central location
- Flexible working and second location opening soon
- Great work/life balance
There are no cons here!
Advice to Management
Keep it up, this is a wonderful place to work!
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Harvey John (Brighton, England) in September 2014.
The interview process consisted of 3 stages: face to face meeting with George & David, an SPQ test to take at home, and then a final face-to-face with George and the other director.
There's a lot to consider when it comes to choosing your specialism within recruitment. Ed Moore picked a niche focus within the Tax team and has some advice to share for those thinking of jumping into specialist recruitment. #Tax #Technology #Recruitment
After Alex Baxter Smith was promoted to Senior Consultant on the Accountancy Desk, we put together an interview with him to get more of an in-depth look at his year with Harvey John. Alex shares how he got started, changes made throughout the year and advice for those interested in working in recruitment.
