    I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Home Instead Senior Care.

    Interview

    I was put forward for interview by an agency. The interview was very relaxed with 3 members of staff. A few days later I was called back for a second interview and was asked to do a presentation. I later found out they were still interviewing people at the first round which is extremely unprofessional and being in the HR profession this is not best practice. Which suggested they didn’t really know what they were doing. I was asked to wait as they needed to be seen as fair and offer second interviews to other candidates.

    The company has good values and a good ethos however, this is a franchise and the HR roles are based at their main head office this is purely a recruitment role and not HR. The branch I interviewed at were very focused on hiring people at retirement age who wanted to top up their pension, which is all very well but they are focusing too much on one market and will be missing out on a good talent pool
