I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Home Made (United Kingdom) in Jun 2021

The interview went really smoothly and interesting.

However, when I got the offer on 16th June, and told HR Peter that I would require visa sponsorship, everything changed. I have to send out several emails for a response. First, he told me very old dated information of visa sponsor that I even think he just didn't want to bother for the progress. Then I send the latest info to him. After another call and email, I got a response that they were discussing my onboard date. Then 2 weeks has passed. Nothing, no response and update. So I understand, it is really they just don't want to bother for my visa sponsorship.

The CEO also came from another country, so I thought he could understand how it is for foreigners like me to work here. I thought a start-up company would be more considerable and humane. So I was wrong.

I decided to move on and write an email to the HR, Peter, telling him I am disappointed about this and assume the situation of offer has been changed. Then he immediately write me back saying that he was too busy and will get back to me in a week.

A week has passed, still nothing. I am not surprised about this actually. I thought I would give you last chance before I write my experience here, I just want honest and respect.

Luckily for me, I have many offers on my hand now, and all of them are willing to give me a worker visa.

Unfortunately for you, I must share my experience here to remind people who need visa sponsorship. Forget that you see the name of this company on UK gov list, they are not worth your time.
