I have been working at Hornbill full-time (More than 5 years)
I have been working at Hornbill for many years and have seen it's transition from a Supportworks business, onto a company that is here for the future, The "Hornbill" project. Many things have changed over the years but the culture hasn't - We have Pizza on Fridays, we celebrate Birthdays, we are given a financial overview of the company once a year with a roadmap of the year ahead, we are given the opportunity to learn or explore an idea within a 24-hour challenge and many other team building exercises.
What's really important in a working environment is that your CEO and your Line Manager know you by name, are aware of your capabilities and give you their time (i.e. not behind a closed "Management Only" door). At Hornbill, you can speak to the management (regardless of the Department) to gain exposure into the future of the company and what you can do to be a part of it.
What's kept me here is the platform the company have provided me to build on my career and so far, it has worked for me personally; this motivates and allows me to deliver for Hornbill to my best ability. The company invests in it's people.
The bonus system is milestone based rather than annual or percentage based.
