   I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Horváth (United States) in Sept 2023

   Interview

   I interviewed with Horvath USA in a process that took over two months. First round interview is with a consultant and HR rep going over typical fit interview questions. The consultant I interviewed with was super friendly and well-informed and had a good grasp of my background and what the company does. Second round is with a high ranking person in Horvath USA in a very similar type of interview. Again, very similar to the first round, very conversational and the interviewer was very friendly. Third round was a take-home case that they give you a week to work on and then submit. I had a pricing case that was relatively standard for a case interview if you are preparing for those. After the third round, I didn't hear back from anyone for weeks. I sent multiple messages to HR with no response. Then I was randomly invited to the next round by a different HR person where I was told I would virtually present my case to a Principal from the HQ in Germany. This was not what I was expecting because I was told during my 2nd round interview that if my case in Round 3 was approved then the round after that would be an in-person presentation of my case. During the interview (where the interviewer showed up a half hour late for an hour long interview), it became immediately clear that the Principal had no idea / was not prepared for me to present my case to him. He instead asked me a series of questions from the perspective of being a Horvath employee at a trade show for the entirety of the interview. Then I was eventually rejected without a solid explanation over the phone two weeks later.
