I have been working at Hurtigruten full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great product. Amazing onboard experience. Great NPS. The concern with the environment is not a publicity stunt but a a mandatory lifestyle approach if you want to work here. No micro management in my team.

    Cons

Upper management is not to be seen. They try to seel the Scandinavian flat structure approach but would not be seen dead next to you for lunch....
Local office heads are far from the leader type. Huge problems with employee engagement and team communication. London office has a very poor dynamic. No place to grow. Progression is almost impossible. Salaries are low in the UK office. Big difference in salaries (Heads earn almost 3x more than members of their teams)

    Advice to Management

More investment in training, better communication from management. Salaries more in line with what is paid in Norway.
