I applied online. I interviewed at Hymans Robertson.

There was an initial online application followed by a phone interview which asked about reasons for applying and thoughts on what your role in the company might involve. This passage talks mostly about the third part of the application process: the face to face interview (and assessment that was done on the same day). The first part of the interview was with two Hymans Robertson employees lasting about 35 minutes. There were questions similar to the phone interview questions and other questions that were personality based and revolved around your experiences and the scenarios you had found yourself in throughout your life. The second part of the interview was aptitude based. It was a fill in the blanks exercise involving 5 independent but similarly structured parts. In each part, given the information available, you had to work out what the missing information was. e.g. given flight costs for 15 different flights between various locations where price depended on distance travelled, ticket type (first class, business, economy), whether the starting and finishing destinations were on different continents etc. you had to work out what the costs would be for the flights with missing prices. You had 25 minutes (I think) to do all 5 parts and could switch between them whenever you wanted but the sections with higher numbers attached to them were generally harder.
