ICP Nurseries – Why Work With Us?

At ICP Nurseries we are totally committed to giving every member of staff full support and access to training.  All of our staff, during the first 6 months of their employment, and annually and/or biennially thereafter, complete a mandatory compliance training bundle – this includes fire safety, food safety and an array of health and safety modules.   Staff must also complete safeguarding training which extends to knowledge and understanding of E-Safety, FGM, Prevent and British Values. With the recent introduction of the GDPR 2018 all staff are also made aware of their responsibilities for data protection.

ICP ensure all staff are paediatric first aid trained and courses run regularly for refresher training and for new staff to participate in.  We have recently introduced a new first aid course – Mental Health first aid – which our Well-Being Champions have attended to give them the skills and knowledge in dealing with this sensitive subject.

We are proud to have been awarded a Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award, recognising the Best Places to Work in 2020, and being ranked 14th in the whole of the UK. The Employees’ Choice Awards programme, is based solely on the input of employees, who elect to provide feedback on their jobs, work environments and employers.

We are always looking for amazing people to work at our nurseries.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at ICP Nurseries (Saint Ives, East of England, England) in August 2018.

    Interview

Interview was done via video call, as was living in wales at the time. Then was asked a series of questions including experience and laws around childcare. The interview was very friendly.
