Company Updates

  • On Saturday of last weekend, as the sun blazed down, 40 colleagues (and friends, family and dogs!) from across nearly every ICS division walked up the highest mountain in Southern England / Wales, Pen Y Fan in South Wales. Some of us even had a dip in the (cold) mountain lake!

    Some galloped up the 3,000ft mountain, and some of us took a more leisurely pace, but everyone enjoyed it immensely! It was great meeting people from across the business and everyone was rightly proud of their achievement.

    - Top drawer management - particularly supportive of working parents
    - Lots of opportunity for career advancement - work hard and you're rewarded, even in testing times they strive hard to keep people motivated and engaged
    - Long serving team members - never worked anywhere that has such a large number of long serving staff - junior and senior
    - Brilliant benefits - great basic holiday package, private healthcare, good selection of pick & mix benefits - very generous in comparison to competitors for what you receive when you join the company
    - Has a good social conscience, especially around charities and supporting causes close to local offices, has generated a real sense of community in the office I work in


    - Not as much of a personal touch as there used to be due to the size of the workforce - no longer know every face in the office by name anymore

    Advice to Management

    Carry on walking the floors & chatting to us all - it really does generate a great spirit that even though there's more of us nowadays, time is still taken to catch up with those of us you know, and get to know the newer faces.

    I applied through a recruiter. The process took a week. I interviewed at ICS (London, England) in October 2017.


    Went for an assessment centre and then had the interview with ICS for a recruitment consultant position but I never heard back from the company on the result and still haven't. It's been over 10 days and they just don't respond to any emails or provide feedback.
