    Pros

The best thing about Immersive is the great set of people it has working for it. Everyone cares about the company, direction and product. It makes it a fun team working environment with different views always bouncing off each other to make the company better. The crazy-fast pace of change means we are constantly innovating but not just innovating for the sake of innovating. The company is also super flexible and caring about it's employees, with a great set of benefits.

    Cons

As we grow it's harder to have a much influence across the company as before, but that's a natural by-product of growth. The number of burger joints around the Bristol office makes it very difficult to stick to the home-made salads!

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Immersive Labs (Briston, England) in June 2020.

    Interview

Online application followed by invitation to video interview. The video interview was disappointing overall.

Interviewer showed up over 10 minutes late and had a lack of interest in my CV and experience. The questions asked were vague and after attempts to open dialogue the interviewer was repeatedly short in their responses.

Call lasted just over 10 minutes.

Company Updates

  • COVID-19

We don't need to tell you that COVID-19 has changed the world of work as we know it. We would, however, like to share with you how we have kept our team safe and secure during these past months. Immersive Labs operates on a culture of drive, inclusivity and agility as values that we knew we could rely on to guide us through these uncharted waters. We also recognise that our people are our greatest asset: without our exceptional team, there would be no Immersive Labs. Naturally, therefore, the welfare of our people and their families were our top priority. Since the first days of the outbreak, we have continuously monitored the situation. Every decision we make takes into account government guidance and focuses on the wellbeing of our employees and the interests of our customers. • Immersive Labs recently raised $40m in Series B funding through Summit Partners and our existing investor Goldman Sachs. We could not be prouder or more excited. This backing means we can continue to innovate our platform and create gamified learning experiences for everyone – something that will help keep businesses safe in our increasingly digitized world. We cannot wait to dream up new ways to develop cyber skills and, more importantly, to continue helping our customers reduce cyber risk. Since our 2017 launch we’ve championed a dynamic new way of honing cyber skills – much to the despair of our more traditional competitors. This vision is being continuously validated, but it’s taken a lot of hard work to get this far! Thanks to our amazing customers and extraordinary efforts across the whole company, we have achieved 750% year-over-year growth in annual recurring revenue and hired over 100 employees.
