If you ask anyone who works at Investigo what sets us apart, the answer is invariably “our culture” which is best described as open, honest, friendly - and above all: fun.

Our people enjoy coming into work because they are surrounded by an eclectic group of individuals, each of whom share a common purpose: to make a difference. The collaborative environment encourages people not only to work together but also to socialise together too. Our football team, netball team, squash club, LGBT group Investigay and regular after work drinks, all mean that there is no shortage of opportunities to get together with the rest of the company outside of work, should you wish to.

At work, you will find your colleagues at Investigo are exceptional in terms of their desire to build meaningful relationships with their candidates and clients. Central to this are our values of integrity, passion, commitment, fairness and expertise. It is important that every person we employ also shares these values to ensure that our culture continues to attract and retain the very best talent within the industry.

’Without doubt, the best company I have ever worked for. You will be surrounded by very motivated people with a wealth of experience. There is a great culture cultivated by a team of excellent people.’

Creating an environment where our employees are challenged and given the opportunity to excel is paramount to us.

We offer a real meritocratic environment, with progression open to every individual within the business. Clear guidelines on the qualifications for advancement are widely publicised and open to you regardless of tenure.

We aim to develop people and provide coaching and mentoring to facilitate career progression and promotion from within. Our promotion record to date is Associate Consultant to Director in 6 years. You will find us more autonomous than many of our competitors due to everyone in the business conducting their working day with commitment and integrity to be the very best they can be.

Our Long Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) is designed to attract and retain individuals who understand how to grow a profitable business and create real value. If you aspire to run your own business at some stage, then you should be talking to us.

’Investigo is definitely the recruitment company to work for if you like autonomy and thrive at building your business, the best way you see fit. Given the nature of how the business expanded initially, there are plenty of high calibre Consultants and Directors to collaborate with, which helps create a high performance culture.’
Glassdoor Review

We have created an aspirational environment, where our employees strive to excel.

Regularly recognising and rewarding personal contribution across our workforce is vital to maintaining our culture. Our compensation package is at the heart of rewarding our employees (both support and fee-earners) for their efforts.

Our reward scheme is simple and transparent, designed to attract and retain the best talent in the industry. We have complete visibility for
fee-earners over their earning potential and our top-up platinum scheme ensures fairness across the business for fee-earners.

We bring the whole company together twice a year to say thank you - at the Christmas Party and our Summer Conference. We recognise
our High Fliers with quarterly trips overseas to luxury destinations such as Iceland, Menorca,
Ibiza and Courchevel.

’I have worked at four other recruitment businesses and this is by far the best. They have the balance between having fun and working hard, as well as rewarding their staff with a great commission scheme and regular incentives / high performer trips.’

Anonymous Interview Candidate in London, England
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Investigo (London, England) in November 2019.

    DO NOT waste your time!!

Contacted by one of the recruiters from the company, who asked to arrange a brief introductory call to explain the company and my experience. I spoke with the recruiter who was friendly and wanted to meet me face-to-face as she said the company works for some large clients. I arranged the following week to meet them at they offices in Liverpool Street, where I was taken to a small room 30 seconds after arriving after a cold greeting from the reception area. I waited over 10 mins which was silly as I could have waited in reception and had a glass of water or something. I was then seen by three different recruiters, asking the same questions and passing the same CV with notes on it over and over.

The recruiters are certainly good at talking but it is all hot air as you can see that they are there only for the commission and nothing else. They are also very interested about finding out which other agencies and jobs you have applied to and what to know everything about that, including names which is very unprofessional- Presumably to tout for business after.

After going to see them in their office I left feeling flustered and not confident at all at their ability to find something. I guess I was right as I didn't hear from them ever again.

Pure sales tactics so do not bother with them.
