    Pros

    J&J is great place to work. The people are fantastic, very like-minded and we are like a family.
    The company creates many opportunities for the various functions within it and encourages us all to gain experience in as many areas and disciplines as possible,

    Cons

    Centralisation within the various support functions has created silos or specialists in specific locations, which makes it difficult for mature employees who are settled with their families to gain different experiences. If you are flexible this will not be a problem.

    Advice to Management

    Please consider roles in Finance to be more stable rather than pushing people to move when there are no roles available in their location of choice.

    Application

    I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Johnson & Johnson (Maidenhead, England) in May 2018.

    Interview

    Initial screening by HR followed by a numerical reasoning test online.

    First stage interview with hiring manager and another manager focused on personality and competency based questions.

    Final interview was a case study where you have 90 mins to prepare a presentation on a business scenario. You then present for 10 minutes followed by a Q&A from the interview panel.
