I have been working at Lead Forensics full-time (Less than a year)

Review is based on 6 months experience. I was inducted by Jade and the two weeks with her were great. I feel I was prepared well for the sales role. I’ve learned a lot more since starting sales but you cannot learn everything on a two week induction I suppose. Support from my manager has been good and I’ve had a lot of help from colleagues. It’s certainly not the easiest sales role I have done but the rewards are better than I’ve experience before. Very good commission plan. The more you sell, the higher the commission % which is refreshing. Overall, very happy since I joined.

I was handling incoming calls in my last job so you just had to focus on making sure you did a good job when you answered the phone. At Lead Forensics I’ve had to generate my own opportunities initially until I get promoted. Makes sense the way they do it, but some people don’t put in the calls to get promoted. I’m about to get promoted after 6 months and I’ll now be sitting appointments booked by others which I’m excited about. This would be the only con.

    Advice to Management

It would be good to understand what people need to do in order to get promoted to manager roles as that is what I am interested in.

    Average Interview

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Lead Forensics (Bournemouth, England) in April 2017.

Went to the office and answered some questions around my previous job and figures that I had delivered in the past as well as why I was there and where I wanted to go. Then we went through the commission structure and pay. After this looked at the office and then it was pretty much over. Please note that I said that I had not received an offer, however the reality is that I never heard anything back, so assuming this is the case.
