Furthering our “Business for the Rule of Law” mission, LexisNexis Global Associations recently hosted a delegation of 20 lawyers and judges from Brazil, at the New York Stock Exchange. The event was part of a week-long visit that also included programs at the Fordham University School of Law in New York.

In its simplest form, the rule of law means that “no one is above the law.” It is the foundation for the development of peaceful, equitable and prosperous societies. For the rule of law to be effective, there must be equality under the law, transparency of law, an independent judiciary and access to legal remedy. Yet, about 57% of the world’s population lives outside the shelter of the law. That’s four billion people struggling for basic, human rightson a daily basis.
At LexisNexis® Legal & Professional, we’re working to bring the percentage of people living outside the umbrella protection of the rule of law down to zero through our day-to-day business operations, products and services, and actions as a corporate citizen.

I have been working at LexisNexis Legal & Professional full-time (More than 3 years)
The work environment is relaxed and there are great development opportunities across the RELX organisation.
I don't find training courses meet my requirements.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at LexisNexis Legal & Professional (London, England) in November 2016.
Initial phone interview with head hunter. This was followed by 2 face-to-face interviews with Line Manager at London office.
The interview was a blend of competency based and CV focussed questions. Standard questions such as motivation to join new role, reason for leaving previous job, relevant expereince, handling challenging situations in relation to stakeholders, employees etc.
