    Customer Success Manager Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Switzerland
    No Offer
    Positive Experience
    Average Interview

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Locatee (Switzerland) in Nov 2020

    1. Contacted by HR + interview with HR (20-40 minutes)
    2. Interview with the Head of Operations (1h)
    3. Trial day + case study presentation (with Head of sales, marketing, operations, and product) + final interview with CEO (2h)

Note: the position is requesting for a Customer Success Manager (salary issues?), but what they actually need is a Head of Customer Success.

The case study was very generalistic (little is known about the product), where they asked to solve with concrete examples their concrete issues in a presentation of 1 h (25 min presentation and 20 min Q&A) and said to be prepared in 4 hours (.. how?)
I was a bit skeptical to give a 100% result of the solution they needed, considering previous interview feedback I read here. Considering I did not get the job, I am not that sad I did not solve all their problems in a 2 days (or better, 4 h) assignment. They sent a rejection email, proving a total lack of touch in this difficult situation for many people.

Overall, it seems to be a cool company with a cool product. Employees are also nice and seem to love what they do. Good luck!

HR: Usual background questions Head of operations: How much was the ARR of the biggest customer you followed? What do you see as the biggest challenges in this position? What is the difference between CS and Account Management? What were your KPIs? Presentation: Can you give me an example of a prospecting call? Can you tell me exactly what you were saying in the call? Can you make a concrete example of xxx...
