Our annual away day...what a day! We held it last month in Canary Wharf and it was the first time the whole company was together in one room since 2019, including all of our new colleagues who joined remotely during the course of 2020 and 2021. Thanks to Maximillion, our event partner, for the fun activities and to the high-level representatives from across the sector who took part in an inspiring panel session. Overall, it was simply a great day for everybody to catch up. Thank you to everyone for attending and making it such a wonderful event. Want to get a taste of the LCCC experience? As part of our 2020/21 engagement survey, we wanted to get our employees’ feedback on the various initiatives the company has been implementing in the past year to support them during the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to offering flexibility to those with caring responsibilities, we have continually monitored the morale of our people and have introduced new ways to safeguard their wellbeing and happiness (check in calls, regular virtual meet ups, online fitness classes…). We have also appointed Mental Health First Aiders from across the organisation, who have been trained to notice signs of stress and burnout and are able to provide colleagues initial support. The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive, with 95% of our employees expressing that LCCC is a caring organisation and that they have felt supported during the Covid-19 pandemic. Our ability to adapt quickly to remote working during the pandemic, while continuing to care for our teams, and for each other, has been truly remarkable.
