    Pros

    Great products. Smart people

    Cons

Lucky dip bonus scheme. No marketing department. Very slow to innovate these days. Company needs a hearing aid when it comes to listening to customer feedback.

    Advice to Management

Taking care of the people should be the first principle. Everything follows from that.

    Technical Support Interview

    Anonymous Employee in London, England
    Accepted Offer
    Negative Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Lutron (London, England) in January 2012.

    Interview

You can expect 2 or 3 interviews. The first one will usually be over the phone. You will be asked for some basic questions about your work experience and some basic technical questions. The 2nd interview will be at the head office in London. You will meet several managers and engineers, usually one at a time over a period of 2 hours. They will ask for more details about your work experience and will ask for some more technical questions about electricity, lighting equipment and electronics. The last part of the interview will be a written technical test. The 3rd interview will be a bit less formal and will be mostly related to your work experience.

    Interview Questions

    • There is no real unexpected questions. You have to prove that you have the required skills and you are fluent in one or more foreign languages. You can also end with a practical test involving setting up some Lutron equipment.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

Try to get everything in writing. Expect a lot of contradiction when you speak to more than one manager.
