    Today, we're a leading savings and investments business with more than 5.5 million individual customers and clients in 28 markets. In total, we have £341 billion assets under management (2019). We have two businesses at M&GPrudential: a savings and asset management business, which is open and growing; and a heritage insurance business, which is closed to new customers but still vital to our future.

  • For the first time this year, we've worked with Leonard Cheshire and have two interns from their Change 100 initiative. The scheme supports talented students with disabilities or long-term health conditions in finding work placements and gives organisations, like ours, access to young talent. M&G plc was formed in 2017 through the merger of Prudential PLC’s UK and Europe insurance and savings operation and M&G Investments, its international asset manager. We look after long-term savings on behalf of more than five million individuals and 800 institutions, in 28 markets.

Our graduate, internship and apprenticeship schemes are designed to train and develop the people who could shape the future of our organisation. It doesn’t matter what you’ve studied before – we’re looking for people who demonstrate energy and determination and who are excited to work in a fast-moving workplace.

Graduate Schemes

Our graduate schemes are open to graduates of any degree discipline and start every September. You’ll spend 12 and 18 months rotating between teams within your scheme, developing an understanding of our products, processes and strategies. At the end of the programme, you’ll take on a permanent role in the team that best suits your skills and interests. Our graduate opportunities are in both Edinburgh and London.

Internship Schemes

Our summer internship is open to students in their penultimate year of undergraduate studies. You’ll undertake an eight-week immersive dive into what it’s like to work in our teams within your scheme. The programme acts as a pipeline for our graduate schemes, with those who are successful offered a place after finishing their studies the following year. You’ll go through comprehensive training in the first few weeks of your internship, making our internship suitable for those with and without industry knowledge. Our internship opportunities are in Edinburgh and London.

Apprenticeship

Our Apprenticeship Programme is designed to offer you the chance to gain a qualification while learning on the job and earning a salary. You’ll work within a busy environment learning valuable job skills, building a bank of business knowledge and developing interpersonal and life skills.
