I have been working at MHA MacIntyre Hudson full-time (More than a year)

I joined just over two years ago and it's great to be a part of a growing firm. There has been lots of change since I joined; the firm introduced a CSR policy and I have already been out in the community doing my bit which was fantastic, they have introduced agile working now and a dress for your day policy which has gone down really well too. All in all, we have some really busy times but we get a much better work life balance than some of my industry colleagues do and I maintain a broad scope in what I do, which is important to me.

Could do with more communal areas in the offices.

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at MHA MacIntyre Hudson in November 2018.

Assessment day split into three parts. Ice breaker challenge, one truth one lie about yourself. First part is the case study assignment split into groups depending on size of the participants, followed by a presentation on the case study.
Second part of the day is the Numerical test, 30 minutes, 30 questions. Similar to the questions from the online testing.
Followed by lunch where you have the opportunity to ask questions to trainee accountants at the firm and also Partners of the firm are present.
The final part of the day is a presentation on the designated area. By this time of the day majority of nerves would have disappeared as you would have become relaxed around your peers and your assessors.
At the end of the day, feedback is given on whether your proceed or if its the end of the process.
