Pros

Lovely people, nice management and flexible attitude to working.

Cons

High commission threshold and can be slow to hire into teams that need extra staff meaning some employees are left feeling a bit burnt out. But overall a good place to work.

Advice to Management

quite a top down approach to management, could be good to literally ask recruiters what they need to be successful on their desk.

  1. Recruitment Resourcer Interview

    Difficult Interview
    Application

I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Major Players (London, England, England) in Jan 2019

    Interview

Was really looking forward to this interview and prepared for it accordingly (in fact never prepared as well for an interview)

I waited at reception, in their stylish Covent Garden office. As soon as I shook hands with the ‘Director of People’ I suspected it might not go as well as I’d hoped. The lady complained that my hand shake was too strong. (It was a freezing cold day and they had me sat next to the entrance, at reception, for 10 minutes).

The interview took place in a tiny box room, which contained two arm chairs and an uncomfortable sofa. Very difficult to relax in such a claustrophobic environment! I was made to feel quite awkward, and found it to be a very unfriendly and disappointing experience.

Would not recommend, based on my 1:1 experience with the ‘Director of People’. Ironic - to say the least!
