We believe that finance has moved on with technology - and we’re here to make it work better for businesses. We want to help entrepreneurs spend more time on ideas and less time worrying about their cash flow.
So what makes us different? With our smart online platform, we’re making it quick and easy for UK companies to access business finance. But it’s not just about the tech. Our people are our greatest asset and one of the best things about working at MarketFinance.
We’re a team of bright and talented people from all over the world, who work together to get things done. Positivity is key to our culture, which means we support each other and have a lot of fun along the way.
At MarketFinance, the opportunity for growth is as big as your ambition. We challenge ourselves to learn more and to think in different ways. In fintech, things move quickly - but that’s part of the adventure.e.
Culture is a big deal for us. There’s always something happening, from fiercely competitive quiz nights to our Friday Town Hall meetings that roll into socialising on the roof terrace. We work, celebrate, share ideas, eat (lots of biscuits) and are always learning together as a team.
Hear from our Co-Founder, Anil Stocker, on his favourite MarketFinance moment:
#MakeItHappen - We're focused on getting the important stuff done first. We don't get bogged down, we find solutions (they're out there!).
#1Team1Dream - We always put the whole company first - when we succeed collectively, we all succeed individually. Everyone has a voice, we listen to each other's opinions.
#AlwaysBeLearning - The only constant is change: we embrace change and learn. We ask and listen for feedback, and always provide it too.
With our smart online platform and personal customer service, we help businesses take charge of their cash flow - quickly and easily.
Since 2011, we've provided over £2 billion in funding to thousands of businesses across the UK.

I worked at MarketFinance full-time (More than a year)
I’ve worked at larger corporate businesses and smaller ones, and I can honestly say that nothing compares to MI. It’s a business where every team works together towards a collective mission that everyone is really passionate about. The company has very clear values, and it’s really inspiring to see these being lived day in and day out by those around you.
One of the things that I loved most about MarketInvoice was the opportunity to work with smart and talented people from all over the world. It’s the kind of place where people are very supportive, work together and have a lot of fun along the way.
MarketInvoice is in a period of rapid growth, which is a really cool thing to be a part of. It’s a very fast-paced, dynamic environment - you’ll never be bored!
I was fortunate to work closely with the founders, Anil and Ilya. My time at MI was an incredible learning experience and has given me knowledge that I’m really grateful to carry forward in my career. They (along with many other stellar folks that have worked/still work for MarketInvoice) have created an amazing company that I’m really proud to have worked for!
Like with any company, there are ups and downs. If you’re up for joining the excitement of the start-up/scale-up culture, you also have to be willing to deal with constant change (to process, management, product and priorities).
Phone screen with a recruiter followed by a task to create an internal sales pitch / doc for a new product line for them to launch. This part you were recommended to spend ~ 4 hours on.
From here, I was told I had an interview to review the case study with the hiring manager. However the interview solely focussed on my experience and was a one way conversation. There was no time for me to ask any questions about the company / role and not one question on the case study I had put together.
I should have been better prepared for this potentially happening, but the style of questioning and lack of a dialogue in the interview gave me a good impression of the culture and it is not somewhere that presented well.
