The problem: cash flow
You do great work for your clients, but having to wait 30, 60, 90 or even 120 days for your invoices to be paid can put a lot of strain on your business – especially when you have payroll, project costs, or other overheads to pay.
The solution: MarketInvoice
MarketInvoice helps you free up cash flow quickly by unlocking funds from your unpaid invoices.
All you need to get started is your company’s financial information and latest bank statements. It only takes 15 minutes to sign up, even less if you apply using online accounting software like Xero, Sage, or KashFlow. We’ll even give you a call within 15 minutes to help you get started.
You can upload one or multiple invoices to sell on our online platform. Unlike traditional invoice factoring, we don’t ask for your whole debtor book, so you can use us as and when you need financing. We can also help you fund up to 12 months of contracts, find out more.
We use our Verification Cloud technology to check your invoices are legitimate. Unlike some other invoice financing providers, we’ll never chase your customers for payment – in fact, apart from one discrete verification email, we’ll never contact your clients at all.
Once verified, we’ll sell your invoices online. We have two trading sessions every day where our network of investors buy invoices from businesses like yours. If you trade before 12pm, you could have the money in your account by the end of the business day.

I have been working at MarketInvoice full-time (More than a year)
The company focuses on hiring the best people, who are smart and who fit into the company culture. The group of people is quite diverse in terms of background, skills, and interests. Everyone works extremely hard and is very ambitious to do the best and most they can. People are social and everyone does get along, but what is also great is that people push each other to always do more and to be innovative and creative. Joining MarketInvoice will certainly give you an opportunity to push yourself to learn a lot in a short span of time. You will feel uncomfortable at times, but you will be supported along the way by everyone and not just your direct manager, which will allow you to learn and grow significantly and quickly. Due to our size, everyone gets a chance to be involved in different areas of the business if that is something that interests you and inspires you, and everyone is keen to receive and offer help. Things are consistently evolving which creates career opportunities on a consistent basis and often a lot quicker than expected. The social aspect of the company is also great, as there is a genuine feeling that people are friends and not simply colleagues. There is a Culture Club in place that focuses on setting on events all the time and makes sure that everyone is engaged. Friday afternoon beers are quite popular and a lot of people end up hanging out at the local pub, which is great to see.
Although it is exciting that things are consistently changing and evolving, we do need to get better at implementing more structure and setting specific objectives for employees, to give them clear opportunities to progress with their careers at MarketInvoice. There are so many talented people with skills outside of their job descriptions, and we need to ensure that we utilize that more often across the company. This would be for the good of the business as well as the development of individuals.
Advice to Management
Co-founders always stay close to the business which is great to see and absolutely expected, but they also need to improve on empowering all employees within the business to make their own decisions while remaining responsible and accountable for their own actions. This will help us focus on the right areas of development and opportunities within MarketInvoice.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at MarketInvoice (London, England) in January 2017.
3 step interview process - a phone call, followed by two face-to-face interviews. I was approached on LinkedIn by MarketInvoice to see if I would be interested in the job. I was, and then had a call with the Head of Recruitment. Once he was happy, I was then interviewed by the Head of Business Development, and then the Head of Sales. It was a smooth interview process, and I was always being kept in the loop with updates.
