    Pros

The people are amazing, we have a one team mentality. Marstons feels like a family and are very good with the home and work life balance.

    Cons

Hard to progress in certqin areas, because some of the senior member roles are held by people who have been there for a long time.
    Communication can be poor

    Application

I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Marston's.

    Interview

Approached via LinkedIn, phone interview, office interview with presentation.
Wasn't ever contacted about position after doing presentation and travelling quite an extensive distance to attend the interview. Completely ghosted after sending presentation over, despite company approaching me in the first place.

  • Part of our commitment to the wellbeing of our employees includes a partnership with the Licensed Trade Charity (LTC) who operate a free 24/7 telephone line for Licensed trade workers with personal or financial issues which may be causing them concern or worry. We were delighted, therefore, to be recognised recently by the LTC in the category of ‘large pub chain’ (more than 250 pubs) for our outstanding corporate contribution to the cause. Read more in the The Morning Advertiser’s article which gives some insight into our continued plans to promote wellbeing and mental health awareness across our pub teams. http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vMR8F
